1. Initial Planning with the Leader Playbook:
- Review the Playbook: Begin by exploring the Leader Playbook, which offers a comprehensive year of fellowship programming. Review the pre-planned theme and discussion focus for your upcoming Gathering to ensure it aligns with the spiritual journey of your SisterHood .
- Schedule the Gathering: Use the playbook’s calendar of events to determine the best date and time for your Gatherings. We suggest planning the entire year out, to give yourself and your SisterHood plenty of time to plan and prioritize. We’ve given you all of the tools to plan a head. And guess what— you can start your SisterHood any month of the year.
2. Crafting the Agenda:
- Discussion and Activities: Take a peek at the discussion guides and activity suggestions from the Playbook. This should include opening prayers, discussion segments, and activities tailored to your group’s needs, ensuring each Gatheringis engaging and meaningful.
3. Utilizing the Leader Portal:
- Access Additional Resources: Log into the Leader Portal to download additional materials that will enhance your Gathering, such as handout templates and communication drafts. These resources are updated monthly for freshness and relevance.
- Incorporate Gathering Intro Videos: Use the introductory videos available on the portal to set the stage for your Gathering's theme and topics, providing a dynamic kickoff to your discussions. Be sure to test out the videos on your TV, Chrome Cast, Apple Play etc. before your Gathering.
4. Final Preparations:
- Gather Materials: Ensure all necessary materials, including handouts and activity supplies, are prepared. The Portal can help organize these efficiently.
- Feedback and Adjustments: Reflect on feedback from past Gatherings to fine-tune your plans, adjusting discussion points or activities to better fit your group’s dynamics. - Collect Prayer Requests: Encourage members to share their prayer requests during the Gathering, either verbally or in writing.
- Digitally Share the Requests: Post-gathering, use communication drafts from the Leader Portal to craft a personalized prayer message, highlighting the requests for that month.
